Payment terms
No person shall be deemed to have completed enrolment requirements for a course unless payment of all fees has been made and receipted. Fees are due in full at the time you register for a course.All prices and transactions processed on this website are deemed to be effected in New Zealand and in New Zealand dollars only and, unless otherwise stated, include GST.
We accept payment via credit card or direct deposit only. If payment is made using a credit card issued outside New Zealand, any currency conversion will be done according to the terms and conditions of the card. There may be a current conversion fee charged by your card issuer. Credit card payments are processed through Stripe.
Refunds
If you are not able to attend the event you have enrolled for, a substitute delegate may take your place, when the person is eligible to enrol in this course in case prerequisites exist. Prior notice of this substitution is required. Refunds or transfers to an alternative date can only be given with at least ten business days’ notice before the date of the event. If you wish to cancel your registration a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be given provided you have notified us in writing (by receipted email or signed-for letter) at least ten business days before the start of the course. If less than ten business days’ notice of cancellation or transference is given then we regret that a refund cannot be given. Refunds will not be given in any other circumstances except as required by law. Passive House Academy New Zealand (PHANZ) reserves the right to cancel any event if minimum numbers are not reached or instructors are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances (like illness, death). In such cases a full 100% refund of the amount paid shall be given. Similarly, PHANZ reserves the right to change the venue of an event with prior notice to everyone enrolled.Delivery
Receipts of payment will be issued by Stripe. Separate invoices will be issued on request. Education events will be held at the dates and venues specified in the event announcement on our website.Liability and copyright
Security of payment details

We collect your personal information in order to register you for courses on the online platform, bill you, provide you with course information and to let you participate in online learning.
Besides our staff, we share this information with services provider, in order to use the online platform and process payments. Providing some information such as a phone number is optional.
We keep your information for 1 year at which point we securely destroy it by deleting it from the service provider platforms.
PHANZ respects your privacy, any personal information that you volunteer will be treated in confidence, applying reasonable standards of security. Any information that you provide will not be made available to third parties except unless strictly necessary to provide the services you signed up for.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at study@phanz.ac.nz.

If you participate in a PHANZ online course that mentions recordings of lectures, your presence in the lecture and any interactions will be recorded. The service we use for the display of the recording is YouTube (unlisted video).
